The Club began as the South African Jeep Club in September 1976. Today, every make of four-wheel-drive vehicle is welcome—and the original spirit is stronger than ever.
We exist to build driving skill, lasting friendships and responsible access to South Africa’s extraordinary natural places.

Sandy bushveld, rocky mountain passes, river crossings and an overnight camp above the valleys. It tests experienced drivers and teaches newcomers—under expert guidance all the way.
The main event
Mountain route. Gymkhana. Junior competition. Camping under the stars. The country’s great annual gathering of 4×4 people returns to Rust de Winter.
