The 4X4ATV Organisatoin is a
non profit club that provides their members the opportunity to partake in 4x4
driving and associate with co-members with the same interest in absolute
appreciation of the great outdoors in South Africa.
We present three major events
annually to aid in financing club activities, keeping membership fees to the
minimum and to justify belonging to the club. The members are proud to be
associated with these events and the great value of our sponsors!
- JAMBOREE

- TOYOTA RUST DE WINTER 4X4 JAMBOREE -
This now famous event is presented in association with mainly Toyota South
Africa and many worthy sponsors, giving the 4x4 enthusiast the opportunity
to compete in a safe and controlled environment with worthy adversaries to
claim the title of overall winner. The event is presented at Rust de Winter
and consists of a mountain route as well as the very entertaining 4x4
obstacle course in a gymkhana area.

- The event was always presented in the last
long weekend of September but has now been postponed to the last weekend in
April.

- EXPO

- 4X4 OUTDOOR AND LEISURE EXPO - Our
annual expo has now become so much in demand that exhibitors cannot wait for
the next year. Presented on the premises of the Moot Trim Park, it is
centrally located and ensures thousands of people to come and inspect your
product and / or service in a leisure and festive atmosphere.
Look out for this event around the middle of June each year.

- POTJIEKOS

- Rust de Winter plays host to our
annual Potjiekos competition. Individuals from our club as well as
other clubs are invited to the big cook-off with lots of great prizes to be
won. Great atmosphere and camaraderie ensures fun for the whole family in
the Rust de Winter Camp setting.

competition.
LIEFDADIGHEIDSDAG
Een dag in die jaar kom ons lede bymekaar en
spandeer tyd saam met mense minder bevoorreg as ons. Ons besef nie altyd hoe
kosbaar dit is om in 'n 4x4 voertuig te klim en die natuur te besoek nie. Op
hierdie dag neem ons mense uit wat dit andersins nooit sou ervaar nie. Kom
saam en bring sonskyn na die wat dit werklik waardeer!
WEGBREEK
NAWEKE
Deur die loop van die jaar is daar 'n paar
langnaweke wat ons bietjie wegbreek en saam die berge invaar. Ons besoek
interessante 4x4 roetes en plekke. Deon beplan reeds nog roetes vir volgende
jaar en dit beloof om weereens groot pret te wees. Hou volgende jaar se
kalender dop en bespreek vroegtydig!
INTERKLUB
Nog een van ons jaarlikse byeenkomste maar
met hierdie een kan ons kragte / bestuursvernuf meet met manne van ander klubs
- baie populêr!
Rust de
Winter MOUNTAIN BIKE CHALLENGE
Heelwat van ons lede en/of hulle kinders is kranige bergfiets ryers. Ons beplan 'n BERGFIETS RESIES op
Saterdag 29ste November met medewerking van CYCLE LAB, een van die bekende aanbieders van soortgelyke byeenkomste.
Hulle doen al die reklame vir die wedren, doen die inskrywings en al die nodige reëlings om so 'n byeenkoms te laat slaag.
Daar is twee roetes , 70Km en 30Km, wat deelnemers gaan aandurf.
Inskrywingsgeld is R120 vir die 70Km en R80 vir die 30Km.
Ons klub gebruik die geleentheid om Rust de Winter en ons Klub bekend te stel aan die mense wat die dag se byeenkoms gaan bywoon. Terselfdertyd kry ons 'n geleentheid om fondse vir RdW in te samel. Enigiemand of groep kan ons skakel om te help die dag se reëlings of indien julle self wil inskryf. Ons moet kos stalletjies hê waar die mense hulle honger en dors kan les. Ons het ook 'n aantal persone nodig wat bereid sal wees om 5 waterpunte op die roete te beman en ongeveer 4 plekke waar ons beamptes nodig het om te sien dat deelnemers op die regte roete bly.
